Inequalities remain, and a backlash against feminism, diversity, and inclusion is still a reality. In this context, trade unions play an important role in respect of the achievement of equality in the workplace. To be effective actors and overcome different discrimination is important to understand the facts and figures on this topic in order to fight to achieve equality in our own organisations. This course will help you develop skills to be an agent of change and a transformational leader as you work towards creating inclusive processes and policies.

At the end of this course, learners will be able to

  • To develop a solid understanding of what discrimination means, where it stems from, and how it manifests
  • To analyse inequalities by knowing the facts and figures to incorporate an inclusive approach to fighting inequalities
  • To formulate strategies to tackle inequalities from a trade union perspective
