The 1st edition of the online training activity on the “European Pillar of Social Rights” will run for four weeks. It will involve about 8-10 hours of work, that learners can follow at their own rhythm by accessing at any moment the online training platform. Online tutors will support participants during the training.
This online training aims to help participants understand and use the EPSR - European Pillar of Social Rights, including how it works with other EU and global initiatives.
It is aimed at trade union representatives and officials at any level who want to understand EPSR and what could be the role of trade unions in its implementation locally, regionally, sectorally or nationally.
Once participants have completed this course, they will be able to:

- appreciate the motivation for the EPSR, what the EPSR is intended to achieve, and how it is linked to the European Semester;
- understand ETUC’s policy and involvement in EPSR, and how unions could use EPSR to make the European Semester more socially oriented;
- see the EPSR in the context of wider goals, specifically the Sustainable Development Goals.
