Abstract
The last edition of the ETUI “European training for young trade union leaders” started in October 2019, with its first week in Budapest, followed by the second one in February 2020 in Brussels. Because of the pandemic, the third and last training week, planned in June 2020, could not take place. Nevertheless, the need for meeting again, reflecting on what has happened during last year and developing visions and plans is strong. This 2-and-a-half-day digital workshop offers to this group of young trade union leaders the possibility to do that. All that has been learned so far during the first part of this accredited course – such as analyse complex situations, design trade union strategies, integrate the European and national dimension into the trade union work – becomes essential for the empowerment of a new generation of trade unionists who will deal with the post-Covid world of work.
