Transfer stimulates dialogue between the European trade union movement and the academic and research community. It contributes research findings on issues of strategic relevance for trade unions, in particular with regard to developments at the European level. Transfer publishes original peer-reviewed research on issues such as new developments in industrial relations, social policy, and labour market developments.
Volume 6 Issue 4, Winter 2000
This issue of Transfer has arisen out of a co-operation project between the editorial teams of Transfer, La Revue De L’IRES (the journal of IRES, the French union-linked institute) and the WSI-Mitteilungen, the journal of the Economic and Social Science Institute of the German Hans-Böckler Foundation. The focus and orientation of the articles were discussed and finalised in joint workshops. The articles appear in theme issues ofthe threejournals in English, French and German. They are also to be published in a special issue of the Spanish journal Cuadernos Laborales.
